Working prototype

EcoGen Automation Controller

A working prototype for monitoring generator conditions, automating routine decisions and keeping the owner informed with manual control retained.

My roleControl workflow, device integration approach and safe operating model.

The problem

Generator decisions depend on changing conditions, so routine automation must not hide uncertainty or take away owner control.

Constraints

  • Safe defaults
  • Manual control always available
  • Feedback before action

Business result

The owner stays informed while the controller handles routine generator decisions from monitored conditions. Manual control remains available whenever judgment is needed.

How it works

The controller reads conditions, applies bounded rules and reports its operating state. Feedback is checked before a state is treated as safe.

Safe operation

This is a working prototype, not an autonomy claim. Its defaults are safe and its manual controls are deliberate, visible parts of the product.

Architecture

  1. Condition monitoring
  2. Decision rules
  3. Owner update
  4. Manual control

Decisions

  • Automate only routine decisions
  • Keep owner informed
  • Treat override as a first-class control

Evidence

  • The prototype monitors conditions and automates routine generator decisions
  • Manual control and safe defaults remain part of the operating model

Safety boundary

  • Default-safe behavior
  • Manual control is retained
  • No remote endpoints or hardware identifiers are published

Working vocabulary
